I created this logo by using adobe illustrator. I used the shape tool to create the circle and then i used the color tool to change the color to blue. I then used the triangle tool to create the chevron effect and used the color tool to change the colors. I also used the type tool to type my name and changed the font to reflect my girly and feline side.  Some problems I faced while creating my logo were creating the chevron pattern and figuring out how to position my name.  I addressed the problems by first testing out different shapes and lines to form the chevron then i used different colors to create the illusion of chevron. Some things i did well in the logo project was creating the illusion of chevron and the different colors that went into my logo. However I still need to work on adding different levels of interest and adding more depth. Next time I do this project I will spend more time on details and on the shape and less time on choosing fonts. ...
When companies use colors to design their logo its important that they use the correct colors. Its important that companies use the correct colors for their logos because they need to make sure the color goes along with what they are marketing. A color says a lot about the meaning of the an object. Red- love, danger, anger, hate Green- envy, jealousy, balance, growth Blue- calm, cool, water, loyal Yellow- cheerful, sunny, enhances concentration, speeds up metabolism Orange- social, communication, pessimism, superficiality Black- power, authority, symbolizes god, villainous Brown-earth, warmth, sad,wistful White- innocence, purity, sterility, summer Purple- royalty, luxury, wealth, sophistication   Color psychology
