Logo process and design

This is my personal logo. I Chose these colors because yellow is a bright and cheery and I'm a bright and cheery person. Then I chose blue because it compliments the yellow and blue is a calming color and I am usually a calm person. Then for the shape I created a unique shape to symbolize how I am an unique person. I also put a circle round my name to symbolize friendship and that I am a friendly person.

For my logo design process I wrote down ten words that described me and from those ten words I thought of shapes and colors that associate with those words. Then from there I created 15 thumbnail sketches. After that we had to create a creative brief and discuss with our partner logo ideas based off that creative brief. once that was done I created my logos.

1st Semester Reflection

This year I gained many strengths. Some of my strengths include project management, cooperation, and leadership. I have strong project management because I get my assignments done on time and they are quality packages. My cooperation skills are strong too because I communicate well with Haley and calm her down when she's stressed out. I have great leadership skills because I can lead people without being bossy. Also my leadership skills have helped me finish my work on time and work well with others. However, I have a few weaknesses like staying on task and being proactive. My plan to become more proactive is by helping out with more things after school and helping set up the broadcast. I will also sit in on the game day broadcasts and learn how to work the equipment. My personality type is an ESFJ. ESFJ are kind, smart, and detailed workers. We are concerned about other peoples feelings more than our own. ESFJ take pride and their work and appreciate praise and compliments. I think my personality type fits me right on. For example ESFJ are organized people and we get our work done on time and that describes me perfectly! Whenever I participate in group settings I mostly try to be the lead role. I work well and cooperate with my other group members. If my role in the group is not the leadership role then I still tend to participate as much as I can. However, sometimes my mom misunderstands me because I try to boss my little brother around. I created this logo by using adobe illustrator. I used the shape tool to create the circle and then i used the color tool to change the color to blue. I then used the triangle tool to create the chevron effect and used the color tool to change the colors. I also used the type tool to type my name and changed the font to reflect my girly and feline side. Some problems I faced while creating my logo were creating the chevron pattern and figuring out how to position my name. I addressed the problems by first testing out different shapes and lines to form the chevron then i used different colors to create the illusion of chevron. Some things i did well in the logo project was creating the illusion of chevron and the different colors that went into my logo. However I still need to work on adding different levels of interest and adding more depth.
