Another part of our final was to create an inspirational post card with a postage ready back side. For my post card I used a beach theme because I like the beach.  I also chose a quote related to the ocean.

For my semester final I had to create 2 different business cards. For the first card we had to use an image and layer text over it. For the other card we had to create our own pattern and put our logo on it. We had to create a front and a back of the business card also.    

    During the first semester of Sophomore year in video I learned a lot of new things. I made a lot of new friends and created many fun memories. The most memorable by far is seeing jared's video on ONW Now and watching everyones reaction to Jared the snake catcher. Through out this class we have done 4 projects. We have done a basic procedure video, an interview with just sound, a news package over the blood drive, a news package over a fellow student and an ONW Now episode.         The projects we did were fairly simple but they did have their difficulties. One difficulty I faced was trying to work around my partners schedule to film them. She was in GSA club so I was going to film her participating in the club and she would film participating in softball practice but we had difficulties because she just moved. in other words we had to find a way to film me doing something at school because she couldn't stay after school. This is the pepsi logo that I created in photoshop. It is a fairly simple design. The design consists of two circles and a rectangle. To create the white line I had to use a new tool called the flag tool. If you want to know how to make this Famous logo I have also posted a tutorial.

Heres my object with a shadow. To create the shadow you use the transform tool with a gradient.

 This technique is called painting in photoshop. I had to paint on top of a picture with the paint brush tool. I used different sized brushes but for the most part I used the same one. This is a picture in Norway of the tulip fields.

 Here is my floating mountain image and I added a moon and mars. Then I put a quote in my picture. I made my mountain to appear floating by placing it behind the clouds. To do that I had to refine the clouds edges and place the mountain image behind the clouds. After that Imported the pictures of the moon and mars.

  These are postcards I made in photoshop using clipping masks. To create a clipping mask for this picture I typed the word LAUGH but i created a different layer for each letter. Then I went each layer of the letters and clicked file and chose place then I chose an image from my desktop. After that I clicked on the layer and created a clipping mask then I transformed the image to fit the letter.
