Professional Article Review

This article was a review on the musical "Hairspray Live!"The author discusses how well NBC did with this musical. "HairsprayLive!" had a raving reviews. Critics explain how the performers were very talented and had infectious energy. The opening act was a big hit with viewers because it incorporated a live audience and was preformed live in the streets of Baltimore.

Although the show was a hit there were a few drawbacks as well. A major drawback was that they went overboard with the "live" aspect. It distracted the viewers because there were live interviews in between the scenes. Critics did not like how Darren Crisis was involved because he was overly enthusiastic. After you get through that then there are only positives.

The overall message was uplifting and refreshing. They kept the overall 60s theme even with the commercials. The live commercials proved to be a hit with the audience. "Hairspray Live!" was a big hit and everyone loved the live aspect of it.

1st Semester Reflection

This year I gained many strengths. Some of my strengths include project management, cooperation, and leadership. I have strong project management because I get my assignments done on time and they are quality packages. My cooperation skills are strong too because I communicate well with Haley and calm her down when she's stressed out. I have great leadership skills because I can lead people without being bossy. Also my leadership skills have helped me finish my work on time and work well with others. However, I have a few weaknesses like staying on task and being proactive. My plan to become more proactive is by helping out with more things after school and helping set up the broadcast. I will also sit in on the game day broadcasts and learn how to work the equipment. My personality type is an ESFJ. ESFJ are kind, smart, and detailed workers. We are concerned about other peoples feelings more than our own. ESFJ take pride and their work and appreciate praise and compliments. I think my personality type fits me right on. For example ESFJ are organized people and we get our work done on time and that describes me perfectly! Whenever I participate in group settings I mostly try to be the lead role. I work well and cooperate with my other group members. If my role in the group is not the leadership role then I still tend to participate as much as I can. I created this logo by using adobe illustrator. I used the shape tool to create the circle and then i used the color tool to change the color to blue. I then used the triangle tool to create the chevron effect and used the color tool to change the colors. I also used the type tool to type my name and changed the font to reflect my girly and feline side. Some problems I faced while creating my logo were creating the chevron pattern and figuring out how to position my name. I addressed the problems by first testing out different shapes and lines to form the chevron then i used different colors to create the illusion of chevron. Some things i did well in the logo project was creating the illusion of chevron and the different colors that went into my logo. However I still need to work on adding different levels of interest and adding more depth.
